Health and Safety Training
Findings from EICC and GeSI audit programs show continuing health and safety noncomformances. To address this, the EICC and GeSI developed a classroom-based train-the-trainer learning program that targets facility management in a format that enables them to make improvements within their company workplace regarding health and safety issues.
The audience for this course is EICC Member and Supplier facility management in the electronics industry supply chain. The training is planned to be available in English, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese.
After completing this course, the participant should be able to understand:
- The importance of health & safety programs in preventing accidents and protecting workers
- How to overcome the challenges of implementing an effective health & safety program
- How to recognize, evaluate and control workplace hazards
- How to create a culture that promotes health & safety
- Where to access resources for health & safety regulatory requirements
