EICC-ON

EICC members understand that their suppliers receive multiple requests from customers. EICC-ON is a tool designed to streamline the data collection process and to reduce redundant risk assessment requests for the suppliers of our members, while protecting the confidentiality of supplier data.

Many EICC members are encouraging their suppliers to begin using EICC-ON to complete the self assessment questionnaire. By completing the SAQ in the online tool, you will be able to share your SAQ results with any customer that is an EICC member. As more EICC members begin to actively use the tool, many suppliers will be able to easily share their data with multiple customers, saving time and money by completing the forms once rather than multiple times. This webpage contains information to help you get started in EICC-ON. Click here for a list of FAQs and benefits to using EICC-ON.

Accessing the system

Suppliers to EICC members will need to register in EICC-ON before accessing the system. Registering in EICC-ON does not make a supplier an EICC member.

When registering, specify the number of facilities for which you plan to fill out Self-Assessment Questionnaires. These may be either manufacturing locations or service sites. Additional facilities may be added later as needed. The number of facilities does not need to include an additional site for the Corporate SAQ. That form will be added automatically to your account once you complete the registration process.

After registering, you will receive an email with your username and password, and a link to sign into EICC-ON. The person who sets up the account will be identified as the Company Administrator. The company administrator can be changed later if desired. There is a fee of $250 per facility per year to use the tool, and you will need to submit payment to activate your account. This amount is pro-rated over the course of the year. Registration must be renewed annually to remain active in the system. After payment has been received, you will be able to fill out the SAQ and to share the results with your customers.

Click here to submit a ticket to the EICC-ON Helpdesk. Email eicc-onhelp@eicc.info if you need help accessing the system. Contact Enablon accounting with questions about the payment process.

Completing SAQs

After registering, the company administrator will have access to the company account and can begin creating additional facility records. The company administrator can also add additional users to the account so that colleagues can fill information in directly. These users can be designated as Company Administrators (full access), Facility Users (single facility access), or Company Buyer.

The corporate SAQ covers the entire company and can be found under the supplier's main account. The facility questionnaire is site specific and should be completed separately for each facility in EICC-ON. Suppliers will need to create facility records before starting the facility questionnaire. This questionnaire covers both manufacturing and service locations. Depending on how the user fills out the initial questions, the other sections of the questionnaire will populate with the appropriate questions.

The SAQ in EICC-ON is a dynamic document, displaying only the questions relevant to your operations based on your company's responses to other questions in the questionnaire. An option to export the questions into Excel to fill in offline before re-importing is also available, but please note that questions that allow for multiple answers do not export. There are approximately 40 questions across all sections of the Self Assessment that fall into this category. In addition, in order for a successful import of an Excel document to occur, the original Excel document that was exported out of EICC-ON must be the document used for import.

Once an SAQ is 100% completed in the system, the SAQ must be "Released" before the results can be shared. Each questionnaire must be released individually. An SAQ that has been released can still be edited at any time. After a questionnaire has been edited, it will need to be released again before the updated results can be shared.

Sharing your SAQ Results

In addition to releasing each SAQ, the supplier and customer must have an established trading relationship for the supplier to be able to share SAQ results. Once that relationship is established, the supplier must set Access Rights for each customer. Through this process the supplier will determine, facility by facility, exactly what information will be shared with which customers.

Step by step instructions for sharing SAQ results are available in the SAQ user guide will be available shortly.
