Governance

Board of Directors

As a nonprofit association incorporated in the United States, ultimate accountability resides with a Board of Directors. The board oversees organizational governance, budget, strategy, and administrative functions. Directors are elected to serve three-year terms for up to two consecutive terms.

Work Groups

EICC Work Groups translate the strategy and guidance provided by the Board of Directors into action. There are eleven EICC Work Groups, and each is overseen by one or more leads elected by Work Group members. Work Group leads serve the important role of liaison with the Board of Directors. They develop work plans in line with organizational strategy, drive the Work Group’s agenda, and motivate members to engage in activities.

Task Forces

EICC Task Forces are created to perform a specific task and disband once their task is completed. Task Forces follow the same governance model as Work Groups.
